Airbus has selected FB Industry Automation to help automate the production of the new A321 XR long-haul aircraft in Hamburg, Germany.
The project envisioned by the Austrian ROI partner features their proprietary Fb Compact Warehouse, a flexible and scalable automated small parts warehouse that is designed to grow according to demand.
The warehouse will also rely on Fb Stash in-house warehouse and storage management software for monitoring, and a compact shuttle system and vertical conveyor to transport materials efficiently between levels.
