LCLS makes room for 14-way sorting

Limited space, variable parcel sizes, and no room for operational downtime. LCLS tackled all three with a modular sorting system for a major European home furnishings retailer in Poland.

Working within an area of just 50 × 20 meters, LCLS designed a belt sorter with 14 drop points, advanced scanning, and dynamic parcel separation. The system handles packages ranging from small parcels to shipments measuring up to 1.2 meters, while processing as many as 2,000 packages per hour.

Real-time monitoring gives operators greater visibility and control, while automation has streamlined the dispatch area, reduced handling, and shortened order processing times. The modular design also leaves the door open for future expansion.

Based in Poland, LCLS specializes in customized intralogistics and conveyor solutions designed around the realities of existing warehouse environments.
