The modernization of an existing sorting installation for a courier customer delivered performance levels that exceeded all project targets for throughput and quality.
French ROI partner Actemium Lyon Logistics led the project with the objective of increasing performance, regaining full control of the automation system, and maintaining operational safety.
The upgraded installation achieved an injection capacity of 13,250 packages per hour and a sorting capacity of 12,874 packages per hour, surpassing the original targets. At the same time, the rejection rate was reduced from 4.54% to 2.88%.
